Volunteer tour guide Jaclyn introduces our current exhibition FRIEND, considers friendships with machines and challenges traditional understandings about our shared lives with robotic companions.

About your guide

Jaclyn Zurcas

Jaclyn is an award-winning television and advertising producer with over two decades of experience across broadcast, agency and digital production, including work recognised with a Cannes Lions Grand Prix.

She began her career at the ABC producing and editing youth content before moving into directing and producing roles in television and advertising in both Melbourne and New York, including positions at Channel 10, BBDO and JWT.

Throughout her career she has led the production of global campaigns while developing expertise in storytelling, production and post-production.

Jaclyn is interested in emerging youth and digital culture and is currently undertaking a Master of International Relations at the University of Melbourne.
