NCM is situated on the lands of the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung people. We pay respects to them, especially their Elders and storytellers, as well as all First Peoples, nationwide. NCM acknowledges that communication technologies have a long history here, far longer than European occupation.

Welcome to NCM Kids

Here at the National Communication Museum (NCM), we’re passionate about inspiring young minds through technology, creativity, and hands-on discovery. Our museum-wide program offers immersive environments and interactive experiences designed for children and families of all ages.

The dedicated Kids Hub on Level One invites kids to follow overhead cables to different nodes, exploring the fascinating ways messages travel around the world and beyond.

We’re also excited to soon launch our Early Learners Program, featuring everything from parent-and-bubs sessions to Quantum Storytime — perfect for our youngest visitors.

In celebration of National Science Week, all kids under 16 get free entry between August 13-17!
