NCM is situated on the lands of the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung people. We pay respects to them, especially their Elders and storytellers, as well as all First Peoples, nationwide. NCM acknowledges that communication technologies have a long history here, far longer than European occupation.

How do you tell the story of communication technology?

16 Jul 2025

In 2021, Zoe was part of the core team that set out to imagine what a 'National Communication Museum' could be. As Experience Developer, she led the conception of the storyworld that you step into today, shaping what you, as a visitor, will do, think and feel as you explore the semi-permanent galleries on Level One.

From imagining the building as a machine for conversation, to framing the history of communication as a dynamic dual screen chat interface, NCM’s immersive and playful approach to storytelling owes much to her vision.
