NCM is situated on the lands of the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung people. We pay respects to them, especially their Elders and storytellers, as well as all First Peoples, nationwide. NCM acknowledges that communication technologies have a long history here, far longer than European occupation.

What if computation wasn’t about speed, automation and scale but building slower, tender and more personal systems?

Radical Computing, guest curated by Mel Huang Buntine, is a love letter to the personal computer and to all those who tinker, weave, extend, stretch, hack, subvert and make with the materiality of code.

Be one of the first to experience NCM’s latest exhibition, Radical Computing, positioning the personal computer as an object of liberation from traditional ideas about computing and code. See local and international artists who use code as a creative medium, push the limits of what computing can be and embrace demoscene & 90s hacker subcultures.

This preview is an exclusive program for NCM Members. New members are very welcome, you can find out more about our membership program here.
