School Holiday Workshop | Introduction to the Art of 3D Printing

Design it. Print it. Paint it.

This hands-on, one-day workshop is a fun and accessible introduction to designing objects for 3D printing. Students will learn how 3D printers work, build core 3D design skills using Tinkercad, and bring their creations to life by printing and painting their own models. The workshop also introduces students to online maker communities like Thingiverse, where they can explore and remix existing designs.

Please note, this is a one-day workshop, held twice – choose either 10 July or 16 July.

Perfect for kids and teens interested in making, design, or technology. What to Bring: Lunch, water bottle, and clothes suitable for painting. All materials and equipment will be provided.
