All video games start with game design.

In this workshop, we introduce students to the position of a Video Game Designer. We will break down the design process, explore genres and systems of different games, explore the process of creating game design documents, and develop a game pitch as a part of a design group. Please note: this is not a coding workshop! This is a one-day workshop, choose either 9 Jan or 14 Jan. After the workshop students and families are welcome to explore the rest of the museum at no extra charge!

About this workshop

Age Group: 10-16 years Experience Level: No prior experience required. This workshop is ideal for creative kids with an interest in games, storytelling, or design. What to Bring: Lunch, water bottle. Laptops will be provided, thanks to Metabox.
