In this workshop students will be introduced to 3D printers and how they work, breaking down the functions, components and set up. We'll dive into Tinkercad, a basic 3D modeling program, where students will create a name tag as their first 3D printed object. After their first model is done, they will have the opportunity to create any model they can imagine. We will introduce students to the 3D model community Thingiverse, where creators upload their creations for others to download.
