Generative AI Music

One-day workshop

Secondary Students

Students will create music from scratch using generative AI (no musical knowledge required). Students will use a generative model to build various music tracks from prompts exploring prompt creation, the ramifications of AI music and an exploration of genres and emotions that contribute to the music we all love. Students will create a music video for their AI-generated songs with help from our partners at Leonardo AI, exploring picture and video creation with AI, basic video editing and colour grading. Workshop starts at 10:00am Making AI songs with Suno AI 10:30-12:00pm Lunch break at 12:00pm Generative AI with Leonardo AI 12:30-2:00pm Second break at 2:00pm Make a music video combining the two AI products 2:30-4:00pm Workshop ends at 4:00pm Students should bring snacks and lunch with them, all materials such as laptops are provided.
