School Holiday Workshop | Content Creator Challenge: Your Phone is a Tool

Step behind the camera and put your content creation skills to the test!

This workshop explores the growing content creation industry across short-form, long-form and streaming. Learn about the industry and how to get started as creators using just your phones.

Take turns as director, camera operator and performer as you experiment with storytelling, cinematography and editing using everyday devices. Along the way, you'll have creative challenges, earn points and compete for awards including Best Edit, Best Cinematography, Funniest Video and Creator of the Year.

The workshop finishes with a big-screen premiere where everyone gets to watch the videos created throughout the day.

No previous filmmaking experience is needed. Just bring your phone and get ready to create.

Age Group: 15-17 years
Experience Level: No prior experience required. This workshop is young people who watch online content or want to make it.
What to Bring: Mobile phones, lunch, water bottle. Laptops will be provided, thanks to Metabox.
